Je ne puis cependant pas non plus voter contre le rapport, car ce qu’il propose est plus favorable que ce qu’avait proposé la présidence du Conseil - pour ce qui relève du domaine public - et certainement mieux que ce que les six plus grands contributeurs au budget communautaire proposent, à savoir de réduire le budget de l’Union à 1% du PIB communautaire.
Nor can I vote against the report, however, because what it proposes is more favourable than what the Presidency of the Council had proposed – according to what is in the public domain – and certainly more than what the six largest contributors to the Community budget are proposing, namely to reduce the Union Budget to 1% of Community GDP.
