Je voudrais simplement réitérer la remarque formulée par le ministre des affaires étrangères auparavant: dans les mains des ceux qui sont hostiles à l’idée même de l’Union européenne, l’incapacité à clôturer les comptes durant onze années consécutives est une arme que nous devrions certainement nous efforcer de ne pas leur donner à l’avenir.
I would simply reiterate the point the Foreign Secretary made earlier, which is that, in the hands of those who are hostile towards the very idea of the European Union, the failure to sign off the accounts for the eleventh year is ammunition which we should certainly endeavour not to provide in the years ahead.
