Brent St. Denis (Algoma, Lib.): Madame la Présidente, avant que nous arrêtions pour la période des questions, j'ai brièvement expliqué que, même si de très nombreux Canadiens ont accueilli favorablement le dernier budget fédéral, nous constatons presque quotidiennement dans les médias que le gouvernement néo-démocrate de l'Ontario essaie d'utiliser ce budget comme une sorte de paratonnerre, dans une tentative désespérée pour remporter les élections ontariennes.

Mr. Brent St. Denis (Algoma, Lib.): Madam Speaker, just before we broke off for question period I briefly made the point that even though Canadians in vast numbers approved of the recent federal budget, we have in the media almost every day attempts by the NDP government in Ontario to use the budget as some kind of a lightning rod in a desperate hope to win the Ontario election.
