Personnellement, je suis éminemment convaincu que le dialogue et une volonté de considérer clairement et honnêtement la réalité du Tibet peuvent nous mener à une solution qui conviendrait à chacun, qui contribuerait à la stabilité et à l'unité de la République populaire de Chine et qui garantirait aux Tibétains le droit de vivre en liberté, dans la paix et dans la dignité.
It is my firm belief that dialogue and a willingness to look with honesty and clarity at the reality of Tibet can lead us to a mutually beneficial solution that will contribute to the stability and unity of the People’s Republic of China and secure the right for the Tibetan people to live in freedom, peace and dignity.
