souligne qu'il convient d'établir les objectifs concernant les sources d'énergie renouvelables en fonction des objectifs climatiques convenus par les 195 pays à Paris, en décembre 2015; prend acte de la proposition du Conseil européen portant sur un objectif de 27 % d'énergie renouvelable à l'horizon 2030; rappelle que le Parlement a demandé des objectifs contraignants représentant une part d'au moins 30 % d'énergies renouvelables dans la consommation énergétique à mettre en œuvre au moyen d'objectifs nationaux afin de garantir aux investisseurs la sécurité nécessaire ainsi que de veiller à la sécurité juridique; estime que, à la lumière du récent accord COP21, il est souhaitable d'avoir une ambition beaucoup plus élevée; rappelle à cet égard que des objectifs clairs et ambitieux sont un moyen d'améliorer la sécurité et d'assurer à l'Union la position de chef de file au niveau mondial; invite la Commission à présenter un ensemble de mesures plus ambitieuses en matière de climat et d'énergie pour 2030, qui relève à au moins 30 % l'objectif de l'Union concernant les sources d'énergie renouvelables, lequel devra être réalisé par la voie d'objectifs nationaux individuels.
Stresses that the RES targets must be set in line with the climate targets agreed by 195 countries in Paris in December 2015; notes the proposal from the European Council for an at least 27 % renewable energy target for 2030; recalls Parliament’s call for binding targets of at least a 30 % share of renewable energy consumption to be implemented by means of national targets in order to ensure the necessary investor and legal certainty; believes that, in the light of the recent COP21 agreement, significantly higher ambition is desirable; insists that clear and ambitious objectives in this regard are a tool to improve certainty and to ensure a leading position for the EU at a global level; calls on the Commission to present a more ambitious climate and energy package 2030 which increases the EU target for RES to at least 30 % to be implemented by means of individual national targets.
