Monsieur le Président, j'estime que les conditions sociales dans lesquelles vivent nos concitoyens autochtones constituent le pire échec de notre grand pays et qu'il est important de reconnaître l'incidence considérable qu'ont eu les pensionnats indiens dans la formation de ces conditions.
Mr. Speaker, I believe the social conditions of Canada's indigenous people are the greatest failure of a great country and it is important to acknowledge the significant role the Indian residential schools played in shaping these conditions.
