The Interim Agreement on trade and trade-related matters between the European Community, of the one part, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, of the other part (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Interim Agreement’), and the measures adopted by Council Regulation (EC) No 594/2008 of 16 June 2008, on certain procedures for applying the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, of the other part, and for applying the Interim Agreement on trade and trade-related matters between the European Community, of the one part, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, of the other part (2), provide for the early implementation of the trade and trade-related provisions of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.

(6) Compte tenu des événements qui ont eu lieu en Bosnie-et-Herzégovine, la décision 92/271/CEE de la Commission du 20 mai 1992 concernant l'importation dans la Communauté d'animaux vivants et de produits animaux d'origine ou en provenance de la République de Bosnie-Herzégovine(13), modifiée en dernier lieu par la décision 1999/441/CE(14), a interdit expressément l'importation d'équidés dans la Communauté.
