With regard to the first, we managed to secure a commitment to further talks on Protected Designations of Origin, a special protection clause and other non-trade issues. As regards the future negotiations, in the months ahead these will focus on translating the agreed mechanisms into WTO legal language and turning the future restrictions on agriculture into words and figures so that the details of implementation can be decided at the next ministerial summit next year.
