Definition: Symptoms are presented by the patient as if they were due to a physical disorder of a system or organ that is largely or completely under autonomic innervation and control, i.e. the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory and urogenital systems. The symptoms are usually of two types, neither of which indicates a physical disorder of the organ or system concerned. First, there are complaints based upon objective signs of autonomic arousal, such as palpitations, sweating, flushing, tremor, and expression of fear and distress about the possibility of a physical disorder. (7) Des considérations de sécurité juridique requièrent que toutes les actions concernant certains aspects du brevet communautaire soient soumises à une même juridiction et que les décisions de cette juridiction puissent être exécutées dans toute la Communauté; en conséquence, il convient de donner compétence exclusive pour une catégorie d'actions et demandes concernant un brevet communautaire, et notamment concernant les actions relatives à la contrefaçon et la validité, au tribunal communautaire de propriété intellectuelle.
(7) For reasons of legal certainty, all actions relating to certain aspects of the Community patent should come under the jurisdiction of one court, and the decisions of that court should be enforceable throughout the Community. In order for the Community patent to be introduced by the end of 2001 in accordance with the wishes of the Lisbon European Council held in March 2000 and the Council meeting on 28 September, work on the proposal for a Regulation is currently focused on two areas: the judicial system to be set up to deal with disputes over the Community patent, and the link between the Community patent and the European Patent Organisation.
