Au terme d’une enquête approfondie (voir IP/12/1338), la Commission européenne a autorisé, en vertu du règlement UE sur les concentrations, le projet de concentration entre Munksjö AB (Suède) et la division «Étiquettes et transformation» d’Ahlstrom Corporation (Finlande) dans le secteur des papiers spéciaux.
Following an in-depth investigation (see IP/12/1338), the European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed merger of Munksjö AB of Sweden and the label and processing paper business of Ahlstrom Corporation of Finland in the specialty paper industry.

On peut toutefois considérer que l'obligation faite à Mitsubishi de communiquer ces informations s'est éteinte avec la clôture, le 8 septembre 1999, de la procédure relative à la concentration entre Ahlström et Kvaerner.
However, it may be considered that Mitsubishi's obligation to provide the information became nugatory when the proceedings concerning the merger between Ahlström and Kvaerner were closed on 8 September 1999.
