Je souligne aussi le fait que nous avons fait des efforts dans d'autres provinces afin de favoriser les communautés minoritaires francophones à l'extérieur du Québec.

Is pleased with the Croatian Government's adoption of an action plan for the implementation of the constitutional law on national minorities and with the increase in funding; urges the Croatian authorities to implement the plan in close consultation with non-governmental organisations representing the minority communities; emphasises, moreover, the need to concentrate on the economic and social rights of minorities, in particular their access to employment, and to devise a long-term strategy for employment of members of minorities in public administration and the judiciary; calls, furthermore, for the Councils on National Minorities to enjoy budgetary autonomy from the local authorities they are expected to advise, so that they can exercise their mandate in full independence;

4. dénonce toute incitation à la violence haineuse envers une communauté minoritaire et toute justification fondée notamment sur le sexe ou l'orientation sexuelle; condamne, dans ce contexte, le projet de la loi contre l'homosexualité déposé au parlement ougandais et invite instamment les autorités de ce pays à ne pas l'approuver et à réexaminer au contraire leur législation, de sorte à dépénaliser l'homosexualité et les actes des communautés marginalisées, notamment les actions des militants LGBT; souligne qu'une loi contre l'homosexualité porterait un coup funeste à la lutte contre le VIH/sida;
4. Denounces any attempt to incite hatred and advocate violence towards any minority group, including on grounds of sex or sexual orientation; in this context condemns the tabling of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill in Parliament and urges the Ugandan authorities not to approve the Bill but to review their laws so as to decriminalise homosexuality and decriminalise marginalised groups, including LGBT activists; underlines that an anti-homosexuality law would be extremely detrimental in the fight against HIV/AIDS;

Il y a des exemples assez intéressants d'initiatives qui ont été prises sur le terrain pour souligner la collaboration et la prise de mesures favorisant l'épanouissement des communautés minoritaires.
There are fairly interesting examples of initiatives which have been taken on the ground to improve collaboration and measures have been taken to help minority language communities.

Dans le passé, la ministre du Patrimoine canadien qui coordonne l'application de l'engagement gouvernemental au sein des institutions fédérales, n'a pas manqué de souligner les efforts que nous avons déployés pour soutenir le développement des communautés minoritaires de langues officielles.
Over the years, the Minister of Canadian Heritage, who is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the government commitment in federal institutions, has recognized Canada Post's efforts in supporting the development of minority official language communities.

Cependant, je suis ici aujourd'hui pour souligner l'anomalie que constitue TFO dans la loi actuelle et la nécessité pour le législateur d'y remédier, en clarifiant dans la loi la notion d'intérêt public et le rôle d'une réciprocité réelle entre la communauté francophone majoritaire et les communautés minoritaires, pour mieux desservir cet intérêt public.
However, I am here today to point out the anomalous status of TFO within the current legislation and the need for the legislator to rectify the situation by clarifying, in the legislation, the notion of public interest and the role of real reciprocity between the majority francophone community and the minority communities in order to better serve this public interest.
