Je me réjouirais si, au lieu d’une kyrielle d’opérations isolées sous le commandement de quartiers généraux nationaux, un accord politique était conclu pour qu’elles fonctionnent davantage selon le modèle de «Berlin plus», dès lors que cela signifierait non seulement une approche fondée dans une plus grande mesure sur la Communauté, mais aussi, en même temps, un esprit commun accru et une coopération renforcée avec l’OTAN.
I would be glad if, instead of a multiplicity of individual operations with national headquarters, there were to be political agreement that these would run more on the basis of ‘Berlin plus’, for that would mean not only a more Community-based approach, but also, at the same time, more common purpose and cooperation with NATO.
