3. Nonobstant les dispositions du paragraphe 2, les parties conviennent que, en attendant l'achèvement des procédures internes de la Communauté européenne et de ses États membres nécessaires à l'entrée en vigueur du protocole, elles appliquent les dispositions de celui-ci pour une période maximale de douze mois à compter du premier jour du mois suivant la date à laquelle la Communauté et ses États membres ont notifié l'accomplissement des formalités nécessaires à cet effet et à laquelle le Mexique a notifié l’accomplissement des formalités nécessaires à l’entrée en vigueur du protocole.
3. Notwithstanding paragraph 2, the Parties agree that, pending the completion of the internal procedures of the European Community and its Member States for the entry into force of the Protocol, they shall apply the provisions of this Protocol for a maximum period of 12 months from the first day of the month following the date on which the European Community and its Member States give notification of the completion of their procedures necessary for that purpose and Mexico gives notification of the completion of its procedures necessary for entry into force of the Protocol.
