The proposal, which requires the approval of the Council of Ministers, suggests that the European Atomic Energy Community should become a member of the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organisation (KEDO), and that the sum of 15 MECU should be contributed to the KEDO annually from Community funds over 5 years, together with European technical expertise.
