IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

1. The provisions set out in this Article, except paragraph 3, shall apply without prejudice to the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Communities (‘Staff Regulations’) and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of those Communities (‘CEOS’), including the amendments made to these rules, in accordance with Article 336 of the TFEU, in order to adapt them to the needs of the EEAS.

Le directeur d’Europol, ses directeurs adjoints et son personnel engagés après la date d’application de la présente décision sont soumis au statut des fonctionnaires des Communautés européennes et au régime applicable aux autres agents des Communautés européennes (ci-après dénommés respectivement «statut» et «RAA») fixés dans le règlement (CEE, Euratom, CECA) no 259/68 du Conseil , ainsi qu’aux modalités d’application du statut et du RAA adoptées conjointement par les institutions des Communautés européennes.

The Staff Regulations of officials of the European Communities and the Conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities (hereinafter referred to as the Staff Regulations and the Conditions of employment respectively) laid down in Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 of the Council and the rules adopted jointly by the institutions of the European Communities for the purpose of applying the Staff Regulations and the Conditions of employment shall apply to the Director, the Deputy Directors and to the Europol staff engaged after the date of application of this Decision.

Le directeur général et le personnel de l’Agence sont ou deviennent des fonctionnaires des Communautés européennes régis par le statut des fonctionnaires des Communautés européennes ainsi que le régime applicable aux autres agents de ces Communautés, prévu par le règlement (CEE, Euratom, CECA) no 259/68 du Conseil , et par les règles adoptées conjointement par les institutions des Communautés européennes aux fins de l’application de ce statut.

The Director General and the staff of the Agency shall be or become officials of the European Communities governed by Staff Regulations of officials and the Conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities laid down by Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 of the Council and by the rules adopted jointly by the institutions of the European Communities for the purposes of the application of those Staff Regulations.

3. The Director shall be subject to the Staff Regulations of officials of the European Communities and the Conditions of Employment of other servants of the European Communities, laid down by Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 (the Staff Regulations) as well as the rules adopted jointly by the institutions of the European Community for the purposes of the application of those Staff Regulations save as otherwise provided in these Statutes.
