La décision proposée vise essentiellement à prolonger d'un an la décision 2004/465/CE, afin que l'aide communautaire en matière de contrôle de la pêche reste disponible jusqu'à l'entrée en vigueur du nouveau cadre financier, relatif à la période 2007-2013.
The proposed decision is chiefly aimed at extending Decision 2004/465/EC for a further year so that Community support for fisheries control will continue to be available until the entry into force of the planned new financial framework for the period from 2007 to 2013.
