Nous proposons de trouver une solution globale pour améliorer la fourniture d'informations et éliminer les inconvénients du système actuel en réduisant la charge financière, et également pour aboutir à ce que la nouvelle initiative communautaire intègre encore davantage le brevet communautaire dans le système juridique résultant du traité.
We propose that a global solution should be sought with a view to improving the supply of information and eliminating the shortcomings of the existing system. This would entail reducing the financial burden and ensuring that the new Community initiative has the result of integrating the Community patents system even more firmly into the legal system based on the Treaty.

Ces outils visent à mutualiser l'expertise y afférente et ainsi conseiller les utilisateurs sur les différentes formes de PPP et sur leurs étapes, qu'il s'agisse de la conception, des modalités de choix du partenaire privé, de la meilleure répartition des risques, de la sélection adaptée des clauses contractuelles ou encore de l'intégration de financements communautaires (exemple des Task Force au Royaume Uni ou en Italie etc.).
These tools aim to make related expertise mutually available (for example the Tasks forces in the United Kingdom or in Italy) and thus advise users about the different forms of PPP and their stages, such as initial conception, how to choose a private partner, the best allocation of risks, the choice of contractual clauses or even the integration of community financing.

Il est important, selon moi, de rappeler une fois encore que la politique de cohésion constitue un des succès majeurs du processus d'intégration communautaire, une des pierres angulaires de l'intégration communautaire d'hier, d'aujourd'hui et, je voudrais ajouter, de demain.
It must be said from the outset that cohesion policy is a major success story in terms of Community integration. Indeed, it is, has been in the past, and will continue to be, one of the cornerstones of that process.

5. déplore que l’objectif inscrit dans le traité d’intégrer la dimensions environnementale dans toutes les politiques communautaires soit encore très loin d’être atteint ; invite les États membres à mettre en oeuvre des stratégies nationales visant à promouvoir un développement durable afin d’éviter toute centralisation préjudiciable ; se félicite de ce que les États membres aient pris conscience de la nécessité d’aller au-delà d’un simple respect des engagements visés par le protocole de Kyoto ;
