L'initiative communautaire ENVIREG vient donc conforter quantitativement et qualitativement l'effort déjà engagé en matière d'environnement dans le programme opérationnel plurirégional "Medio Ambiente" qui avait bénéficié le 7.3.1991 d'une décision portant sur 219 MECU du FEDER et dont plus d'un tiers se trouve déjà réalisé à ce jour.
The ENVIREG initiative is thus designed to add quantitatively and qualitatively to the efforts already being made on the environment under the multi-regional operational programme "Medio Ambiente", which on 7 March 1991 was granted 219 million ECU from the ERDF. More than one third of this latter programme has already been carried out.

La Commission, sur proposition de M Bruce MILLAN, chargé des politiques régionales, vient d'adopter, suite aux avis exprimés notamment par le Parlement européen et le Comité Consultatif réunissant les représentants des Etats membres, le texte final de la communication sur le programme d'initiative communautaire ENVIREG.
On a proposal from Mr Bruce MILLAN, Commissioner for Regional Policies, and after receiving the opinions of the European Parliament and the Advisory Committee of representatives of the Member States, the Commission recently adopted the final text of the notice on the Community initiative ENVIREG.

La Commission, sur proposition de M. Bruce MILLAN, Commissaire chargé des Politiques Régionales, vient d'adopter dans le cadre du programme d'initiative communautaire ENVIREG, le programme opérationnel concernant la zone côtière du bassin d'emploi de Fos-Etang de Berre dans la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (éligible à l'Objectif 2) et le programme opérationnel concernant la côte rocheuse des Pyrénées-Orientales dans la région Languedoc-Roussillon (éligible à l'Objectif 5b).
On a proposal from Mr Bruce Millan, Member of the Commission with special responsibility for regional policies, the Commission has adopted the operational programme for the coastal section of the Fos-Etang de Berre travel-to-work area in the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (eligible under Objective 2), and the operational programme for the rocky coast of the Eastern Pyrenees in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon (eligible under Objective 5(b)), as part of the Community's Envireg programme.

Sur proposition de M. Bruce MILLAN, Commissaire responsable des politiques régionales, la Commission vient d'adopter un programme prévoyant un concours communautaire du Fonds européen de développement régional de 12,8 MECU (9 millions de FF) pour la mise en oeuvre des initiatives communautaires ENVIREG et STRIDE en Corse.
On a proposal from Mr Bruce Millan, Member of the Commission with responsibility for regional policies, the Commission has adopted a programme providing Community assistance worth ECU 12.8 million (FF 9 million) from the European Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the Envireg and Stride Community initiatives in Corsica.
