La Commission rappellera donc dans les communiqués de presse publiés à l'occasion du classement d'importantes procédures d'infractions que ce classement ne préjuge pas des droits des particuliers lésés ni des actions en dédommagement qu'ils pourraient introduire devant les juridictions nationales. Elle rendra publique une communication interprétative portant sur le droit à la réparation des dommages résultant d'une violation du droit communautaire par un Etat membre
Commission press releases announcing the termination of cases will accordingly restate the fact that the termination does not affect the rights of individuals who have sustained loss nor such actions for compensation as they may have brought in the national courts. It will publish an interpretative communication on the right to seek damages for loss sustained as a result of an infringement of Community law by a Member State.
