Deplores the content of the political agreement of 6 October 2015 within the Council, which falls short of the Commission’s legislative proposal of March 2015 amending Directive 2011/16/EU as regards mandatory automatic exchange of information in the field of taxation; stresses that the latter provided, on top of a common framework for the registration and automatic exchange of information on rulings, provisions allowing the Commission to effectively monitor its implementation by Member States and ensure that rulings do not have a negative impact on the internal market; stresses that the adoption of the Council’s position would prevent drawing all benefits from the automatic exchange of rulings, in particular in terms of effective implementation, and calls on the Council, therefore, to stick to the Commission’s proposal and take due account of the Parliament’s opinion thereon, in particular as regards the scope of the directive (all tax rulings instead of cross-border only), the retroactivity period (all tax rulings still valid should be exchanged) and the information provided to the Commission, which should have access to the tax rulings;

Auront-ils le courage de voter contre leur parti et pour le bon sens en disant oui, si un agriculteur veut avoir le droit de vendre ses céréales sans passer par la commission il devrait avoir ce droit?

Notre caucus est d'avis que tant qu'un agriculteur fait parvenir un boisseau de grain à la commission, il devrait avoir droit à une voix lors de l'élection des membres du conseil d'administration.
In this caucus we think that as long as a farmer is sending one bushel of grain to the wheat board that he or she should have the right to a vote on the election of the board of directors.
