GEELHOED Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee PREPARATIONS FOR THE CANNES EUROPEAN COUNCIL - BROAD GUIDELINES OF MEMBER STATES' AND COMMUNITY ECONOMIC POLICIES After a wide-ranging exchange of views, the Council approved the draft broad guidelines of the economic policies of the Member States and of the Community and agreed to forward the draft guidelines to the Cannes European Council.
