Considers Morocco’s regime to be corrupt and repressive, and similar to the regimes of Mubarak and Ben Ali; supports the movement of Moroccan women fighting against abusive IMF-funded microfinance organisations; reiterates that Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara has never been recognised by international law; demands that the Commission and the Council suspend the association agreement between the EU and the Kingdom of Morocco, along with the Advanced Status granted to Morocco, until the Kingdom complies with international law, in particular the UN resolutions calling for a referendum on self-determination in Western Sahara and for the completion of the decolonisation process, thereby putting an end to the occupation by Morocco;

Demands that the Commission and Council freeze the Association Agreement between the EU and the Kingdom of Morocco and paralyze the Advanced Status until the Kingdom of Morocco fulfils international legislation, in particular, the UN resolutions with reference to the holding of a referendum on self-determination in Western Sahara, and the conclusion of the decolonization process to put an end to the occupation by Morocco;

Regrets that the decolonisation process of Western Sahara is not yet finished; asks the Council and the Commission to consider this conflict as a priority in the UfM; asks the Council and the Commission to work on this framework in order to achieve the self‑determination of Western Sahara, in line with multiple United Nations resolutions; denounces the responsibility of Morocco in this situation; denounces the violations of human rights in Morocco and the repression of human rights activists; deplores in this regard the advanced status that the EU has granted to Morocco;
