La Commission européenne a autorisé une opération par laquelle Corus Group plc, entreprise du groupe British Steel, et Cogifer (Compagnie générale d'installations ferroviaires), une filiale française de De Dietrich Cie, créent une entreprise commune en vue de la fabrication et de la vente d'aiguillages et de passages à niveau au Royaume-Uni. La Commission a constaté que l'opération ne soulevait pas de préoccupations en matière de concurrence sur le marché britannique, où elle ne crée pas de chevauchements, ni dans le reste de l'Union européenne.
The European Commission has approved a transaction under which British steel firm Corus Group Plc and Cogifer Cie Générale d'Installations Ferroviaires, a French subsidiary of De Dietrich Cie, create a joint venture for the manufacture and sale of railway switches and crossing in UK. The Commission has found that there are no competition concerns in the UK market, where this no overlap, or in the rest of the European Union.
