En effet, il ressort aussi bien du titre même de cette convention que de l’article 5, paragraphe 6, de celle-ci – lu en combinaison avec l’annexe II, sous c), point iv), de la même convention – que cette dernière n’est applicable qu’à certains produits chimiques et pesticides dangereux qui font l’objet d’un commerce international, lequel constitue, à son tour, une condition sine qua non de l’inscription desdits produits à l’annexe III de la convention et, partant, de leur participation à la procédure CIP.
It is clear from the very title of the Convention and from Article 5(6) thereof – read in conjunction with Annex II(c)(iv) to the Convention – that the Convention applies only to certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides which are traded internationally, that in turn being an essential precondition for the listing of such products in Annex III to the Convention and, therefore, for their being subject to the PIC procedure.
