Commission communication to the Council and to Parliament subsequent to the conclusions of the Ruding Committee indicating guidelines on company taxation linked to the further development of the internal market.

- Proposition de directive du Conseil modifiant la directive 90/435/CEE du 23 juillet 1990 concernant le régime fiscal commun applicable aux sociétés mères et filiales d'Etats membres différents (Note IP(93)637) Dans sa communication du 26 juin 1992 au Conseil et au Parlement européen, consécutive aux conclusions du Comité Ruding portant sur les orientations en matière de fiscalité des entreprises dans le cadre de l'approfondissement du marché intérieur, la Commission a indiqué qu'elle considère que l'élargissement du champ d'application de la directive mères-filiales, selon les lignes tracées par le Comité dans son rapport(1), est hautement souhaitable afin de réduire encore davantage les doubles impositions qui pénalisent le plus l'activité internationale des entreprises.
- Proposal for a Council Directive amending Directive 90/435/EEC of 23 July 1990 on the common system of taxation applicable in the case of parent companies and subsidiaries of different Member States (Memo IP(93)637) In its communication of 26 June 1992 to the Council and to Parliament subsequent to the conclusions of the Ruding Committee indicating guidelines on company taxation linked to the further development of the internal market, the Commission stated its view that extending the scope of the "parent companies/subsidiaries" Directive along the lines suggested in the Ruding Committee's report1 would be highly desirable as a means of further reducing the double taxation which most penalizes the international activities of companies.
