The Commission submits that, by not adopting the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary for the removal of the restrictions existing in its national legislation that concern the acquisition by EU/EEA nationals of residences for secondary use or in any event by not notifying those provisions to the Commission, the Cypriot Government has failed to fulfil its obligations to comply with Article 24 of the Act concerning the conditions of accession of the Republic of Cyprus, in conjunction with Annex VII to that act relating to the transitional provisions that concern Cyprus.

A number of Member States reported that they had provided the Commission with details of measures taken under Article 7(3) to prevent movements of waste which are not in accordance with their waste management plans: Austria, Denmark, Spain, [33] Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Finland [34], and the UK. Belgium, Greece, France, Germany, Portugal and Sweden confirmed that they had not adopted any such measures.

(8) In order to guarantee effective discussions, each national delegation attending the Group should have a consolidated and coordinated national view of all policies which affect the use of radio spectrum in that Member State in relation not only to the internal market but also to public order, public security, civil protection and defence policies as the use of radio spectrum for such policies may influence the organisation of radio spectrum as a whole.
