Takes into account the European Court of Auditors Special report 15/2012 on management of conflict of interest in selected EU Agencies published in October 2012; welcomes, in this regard, the Agency's decision of 1 August 2012 to amend the Code of Conduct for its staff to include a comprehensive policy on the prevention and mitigation of conflict of interest which might meet the recommendations of the Court of Auditors, and will closely monitor the progress made; notes that the Agency's managers, sensitive posts and Members of the Executive Committee have already completed their annual declarations of interest; calls on the Agency to scrutinise and prohibit possible conflicts of interest when hiring experts and staff from the sector it supervises;
