L'année 1989 sera une année clé pour le développement de COMETT puisque, d'une part, elle mettra à la disposition de la Communauté une masse critique de résultats concrets réalisés avec les projets acceptés et, d'autre part, elle introduira une phase de transition essentielle pour le lancement de COMETT II. Cette phase correspondra notamment à l'établissement d'un grand nombre de projets ayant obtenu des résultats prometteurs au cours des trois premières années de leur exécution.
The year 1989 will be a key year for the development of COMETT, since, on the one hand, it will put at the disposal of the Community a critical mass of concrete results achieved by the projects accepted, and, on the other hand, it will usher in a transitional phase essential for the launching of COMETT II ; a phase which will draw upon, amongst other things, a large number of projects having obtained promising results over the three years of their operations.
