– (EN) La majorité des députés se sont prononcés pour ce texte qui établit que le Parlement européen, vu la proposition de la Commission au Conseil (COM(2010)0331); vu l’article 113 du traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne conformément auquel il a été consulté par le Conseil (C7-0173/2010); vu l’avis du Comité économique et social; vu l’article 55 de son règlement et vu le rapport de la commission des affaires économiques et sociales (A7-0325/2010), approuve la proposition de la Commission telle qu’amendée; invite la Commission à modifier en conséquence sa proposition, conformément à l’article 293, paragraphe 2, du traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne; invite le Conseil s’il entend s’écarter du texte approuvé, à en informer celui-ci; demande au Conseil de le consulter à nouveau s’il entend modifier de manière substantielle la proposition de la Commission; charge son président de transmettre la position du Parlement au Conseil et à la Commission, ainsi qu’aux parlements nationaux.
– We are in the majority in Parliament voting in favour of this text, which states that the European Parliament, having regard to the Commission proposal to the Council (COM(2010)0331), having regard to Article 113 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union pursuant to which the Council consulted Parliament (C7-0173/2010), having regard to the opinion of the European Economic and Social Committee, having regard to Rule 55 of its Rules of Procedure, and having regard to the report of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (A7-0325/2010), approves the Commission proposal as amended; calls on the Commission to alter its proposal accordingly, in accordance with Article 293(2) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union; calls on the Council to notify Parliament if it intends to depart from the text approved by Parliament; asks the Council to consult Parliament again if it intends to amend the Commission proposal substantially; instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the national parliaments.
