The Council common position tabled a series of technical and linguistic amendments to the original text: these served to remedy omissions, ensure uniformity of the wording of the texts using terminology more in line with the new ‘comitology’ decision, add acts which had been amended in the meantime and delete others which had meanwhile been adjusted individually to the new procedures.
