Je ne voudrais pas clore cette présentation générale du projet de budget - 2002 sans aborder deux points importants à l'égard desquels le Conseil a adopté une position d'attente, en raison du fait qu'il nous manquait un certain nombre d'éléments qui ne devaient être connus définitivement que plus tard au cours de la procédure budgétaire.
I will not close off this general presentation of the draft budget for 2002 without mentioning two major issues in respect of which the Council has adopted a wait-and-see approach, because a number of elements, which were not to become apparent until later on in the budgetary procedure, have been missing.
