Now Know You that We, by and with the advice of Our Privy Council for Canada, do by this Our Proclamation declare and direct that the said Agreement on Social Security between Canada and France, signed at Ottawa on February 9, 1979, a copy of which is attached hereto, which is declared to be in force by Order in Council P.C. 1980-2859 of October 23, 1980Footnote is in force effective upon, from and after the 13th day of January, 1981.
