Cette stratégie macrorégionale concerne sept pays: cinq États membres (l'Autriche, la France, l'Allemagne, l'Italie et la Slovénie) et deux pays tiers (le Liechtenstein et la Suisse). Elle porte sur un total de 48 régions.
This macro-regional strategy concerns seven countries; five Member States - Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Slovenia - and two non-EU countries - Liechtenstein and Switzerland - overall involving 48 regions.

It is the fourth macro-regional strategy in Europe; experience shows that their success highly depends on commitment and ownership.

2. salue les efforts déployés par toutes les parties prenantes pour créer une architecture institutionnelle permettant la mise en œuvre de la stratégie en question en s'inscrivant dans le cadre institutionnel existant; encourage toutes les parties prenantes nationales, régionales et locales à s'approprier pleinement la mise en œuvre des projets couverts par cette stratégie macrorégionale; souligne qu'il importe de renforcer la capacité institutionnelle et l'efficacité des administrations et des services publics, et que chaque pays participant se dote de ressources suffisantes et d'un personnel administratif compétent, expressément consacrés à la mise en œuvre de la stratégie;
2. Welcomes the efforts undertaken by all interested stakeholders in setting up an institutional architecture for the implementation of the EUSAIR within the existing institutional framework; encourages all national, regional and local stakeholders to take full ownership of the implementation of the projects covered by this macro-regional strategy; stresses the importance of strengthening the institutional capacity and efficiency of public administrations and public services and securing, in each participating country, sufficient resources and competent administrative personnel expressly dedicated to implementing the EUSAIR;

Une riche expérience a déjà été acquise dans ce domaine: la stratégie maritime pour la mer Adriatique et la mer Ionienne existante fait partie intégrante de cette nouvelle stratégie macrorégionale plus large.
There is already a wealth of experience in this area: the existing Maritime Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Seas is an integral part of this new broader macro-regional strategy.

8. invite la Commission à s'inspirer de l'expérience des plateformes existantes pour les stratégies macrorégionales pour la mer Baltique et le Danube, afin de présenter sans délai un plan d'action spécifique à cette région et par là même de remédier aux handicaps structurels auxquels sont confrontées les régions montagneuses, et de créer des conditions favorables à la croissance économique et à une cohésion sociale et territoriale effective dans la région;
8. Calls on the Commission to draw on the experience of the existing platforms for the Baltic Sea and Danube macro-regional strategies in order to submit an action plan specific to this area without delay, with a view to overcoming the structural handicaps faced by mountain regions and creating the right conditions for economic growth and effective social and territorial cohesion in the region;

INVITE les États membres concernés et la Commission à examiner les interactions et synergies qui peuvent naître entre les deux stratégies macrorégionales existantes, à savoir la stratégie de l'UE pour la région de la mer Baltique et la stratégie de l'UE pour la région du Danube; APPELLE la Commission européenne à assurer sur cette base le développement cohérent des deux macrorégions, notamment en reliant leurs infrastructures;
INVITES the Member States concerned and the Commission to explore the possible interconnections and synergies between the two existing macro-regional strategies, namely the EU Strategies for the Baltic Sea Region and the Danube Region. CALLS ON the European Commission to ensure on this basis the coherent development of both macro-regions, including infrastructural connections between them.

6. recommande toutefois à la Commission, pour traiter problèmes, priorités et défis communs à l'intérieur d'une sphère géographique plus grande, qui comprenne différents États membres, compte tenu de la stratégie Europe 2020, d'analyser l'opportunité de promouvoir une approche "macrorégionale" fondée sur l'objectif 3 du règlement sur les fonds structurels, qui prévoit que toute stratégie macrorégionale doit être intégrée à la politique régionale de l'Union, en tant que politique coordonnée s'appliquant à l'ensemble du territoire européen; attire l'attention sur la nécessité d'examiner la valeur ajoutée que présente cette stratégie pour la réalisation de l'objectif de la cohésion territoriale au sein de l'Union; estime que cela doit aussi être le cas pour la politique maritime de l'Union, afin d'encourager son développement et sa mise en œuvre dans les régions côtières et ultrapériphériques au moyen d'une stratégie cohérente et complète;
6. Nevertheless, as a way of tackling common problems, priorities and challenges in a larger geographical sphere, including different Member States, recommends the Commission, in the light of the EU2020 Strategy, to analyse the opportunity of promoting a ‘macro-regional’ approach based on objective 3 of the regulation on structural funds, which states that any ‘macro-regional’ strategy should be incorporated in the EU’s regional policy, resulting in a coordinated policy for the whole territory of the EU; highlights the need to analyse the added value of this strategy for the implementation of the objective of territorial cohesion within the territory of the Union; this should also be done for maritime policy, with a view to fostering development and to better implementation of EU maritime policy in coastal and outermost regions within a coherent, comprehensive strategy;

3. souligne qu'il est impératif que toute stratégie macrorégionale soit intégrée à la politique régionale de l'UE, politique coordonnée s'appliquant sur l'ensemble du territoire de l'UE; attire également l'attention sur la nécessité d'examiner la valeur ajoutée que présente cette stratégie pour la réalisation de l'objectif de la cohésion territoriale au sein de l'UE;

Stresses the imperative that any macro-regional strategy should be incorporated in the EU's regional policy, as a coordinated policy for the whole territory of the EU; furthermore, highlights the need to analyse the added value of this strategy for the implementation of the objective of territorial cohesion within the territory of the Union;

1. estime qu'une stratégie européenne pour la région du Danube est propre à stimuler le développement territorial par la voie d'une coopération renforcée dans des domaines d'action clairement définis pour lesquels l'ensemble des gouvernements partenaires sont d'avis qu'une véritable valeur ajoutée peut être apportée au niveau européen et demande qu'elle soit établie dans le cadre de l'objectif "coopération territoriale européenne"; souligne que toute stratégie macrorégionale doit être intégrée à la politique régionale de l'UE, politique unique s'appliquant sur l'ensemble du territoire de l'UE; attire également l'attention sur la nécessité d'examiner la valeur ajoutée que présente cette stratégie pour la réalisation de l'objectif de la cohésion territoriale de l'UE;

Considers a European Strategy for the Danube Region to be an appropriate means of enhancing territorial development through closer cooperation in clearly defined policy fields in which genuine European added value has been identified by all governmental partners, and calls for that strategy to be developed as part of the European Territorial Cooperation objective; stresses that any macro-regional strategy needs to be incorporated into EU regional policy, which is a single policy applying throughout the EU; highlights the need to analyse the added value of this strategy for the attainment of the objective of territorial cohesion within the Union;
