Définition: Dans de nombreux cas, une perturbation du sommeil est l'un des symptômes d'un autre trouble mental ou physique. Savoir si, chez un patient donné, un trouble du sommeil est une perturbation indépendante ou simplement l'une des manifestations d'un autre trouble classé, soit dans ce chapitre, soit dans d'autres chapitres, doit être précisé sur la base des éléments cliniques et de l'évolution, aussi bien qu'à partir de considérations et de priorités thérapeutiques au moment de la consultation. En règle générale, ce code doit être utilisé conjointement à d'autres diagnostics pertinents décrivant la psychopathologie et la physiopathologie impliquées dans un cas donné, quand la perturbation du sommeil est une des plaintes prépondérantes et quand elle est ressentie comme une affection en elle-même. Definition: In many cases, a disturbance of sleep is one of the symptoms of another disorder, either mental or physical. Whether a sleep disorder in a given patient is an independent condition or simply one of the features of another disorder classified elsewhere, either in this or in others, should be determined on the basis of its clinical presentation and course as well as on the therapeutic considerations and priorities at the time of the consultation. Generally, if the sleep disorder is one of the major complaints and is perceived as a condition in itself, the present code should be used along with other pertinent diagnoses describing the psychopathology and pathophysiology involved in a given case. This category includes only those sleep disorders in which emotional causes are considered to be a primary factor, and which are not due to identifiable physical disorders classified elsewhere.

The Association Committee shall ensure that the list always contains five individuals at any point in time. Those individuals shall have expertise or experience in financial services law or practice, which may include the regulation of financial institutions, be independent, serve in their individual capacities and not be affiliated with, nor take instructions from, any Party or organisation and shall comply with the Code of Conduct set out in Annex XVI. Such list may be amended every three years.
