Le Canada et les États-Unis ne figurant pas sur la liste des pays tiers autorisés à exporter des ruminants non domestiques vers la Communauté, arrêtée dans la décision 79/542/CEE du Conseil établissant une liste des pays tiers en provenance desquels les États membres autorisent l'importation d'animaux des espèces bovine et porcine et de viandes fraîches (2), l'exportation de cervidés vivants de ces pays vers la Communauté est déjà interdite.
As Canada and the United States of America do not appear on the list of third counties approved to export non-domestic ruminant animals to the Community laid down in Council Decision 79/542/EEC drawing up a list of third countries or parts of third countries, and laying down animal and public health and veterinary certification conditions, for importation into the Community of certain live animals and their fresh meat (2), the export of live cervids from these countries to the Community is already precluded.
