Je sais naturellement que le contexte économique mondial n’est pas favorable. Je ne voudrais pas, cependant, que ceci serve d’excuse. Cela devrait plutôt inciter l’Union européenne élargie à trouver des réponses à ces questions auxquelles d’autres ne peuvent répondre.
Of course I understand that the global economic context is unfavourable, nevertheless I would not like to perceive it as an excuse, but rather as a stimulus for an enlarged European Union to find the answers to those questions which others cannot answer.
