Les montants totaux des quotas adoptés par le Conseil et le Parlement en fin 2000 ne seront pas modifiés. La répartition entre quotas A, B et C sera ajustée à hauteur de 100 000 t qui seront transférées au quota C vers le quota B. Ceci impliquera donc une modification du règlement, avec pour contrepartie du côté américain l'acceptation de l'affectation du quota C aux seuls ACP.
The quota totals adopted by the Council and Parliament at the end of 2000 will be unchanged, but the distribution between the A, B and C quotas will be altered by transferring 100 000 tonnes from the C quota to the B quota. This will result in a change to the Regulation, and the US in its turn will agree to all of the C quota being allocated to the ACP countries.
