The Staff Regulations of officials of the European Communities and the Conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities (hereinafter referred to as the Staff Regulations and the Conditions of employment respectively) laid down in Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 of the Council (14) and the rules adopted jointly by the institutions of the European Communities for the purpose of applying the Staff Regulations and the Conditions of employment shall apply to the Director, the Deputy Directors and to the Europol staff engaged after the date of application of this Decision.

The Director shall be subject to the Staff Regulations of officials of the European Communities and the Conditions of Employment of other servants of the European Communities, laid down by Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 (the Staff Regulations) as well as the rules adopted jointly by the institutions of the European Community for the purposes of the application of those Staff Regulations save as otherwise provided in these Statutes.

Le budget opérationnel de la CECA pour l'exercice 2001 ne s'écarte pas franchement de la ligne budgétaire maintenue au cours de ces dernières années et par conséquent, il est soumis aux mêmes dysfonctionnements. Il suffit de voir le montant issu des engagements non liquidés.
The ECSC operative budget for 2001 does not move away substantially from the line taken in recent years. It therefore takes on the same faults.

Les règles et règlements auxquels est soumis le personnel statutaire de la fondation, y compris le directeur, sont analogues à ceux établis dans le règlement (CECA, CEE, Euratom) no 1859/76 du Conseil, du 29 juin 1976, portant fixation du régime applicable au personnel du Centre européen pour le développement de la formation professionnelle (1) et font l'objet d'un règlement séparé arrêté par le Conseil sur proposition de la Commission.
The rules and regulations governing the statutory personnel of the Foundation, including the director, shall be analogous to those laid down in Council Regulation (ECSC, EEC, Euratom) No 1859/76 of 29 June 1976 laying down the conditions of employment of staff of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (1), and shall be contained in a separate Regulation to be adopted by the Council on a proposal from the Commission.

2. Les budgets supplémentaires et/ou rectificatifs sont soumis aux dispositions prévues par les articles 78 du traité CECA, 203 du traité CEE et 177 du traité Euratom.
2. Preliminary draft supplementary and/or amending budgets shall be subject to the provisions of Article 78 of the ECSC Treaty, Article 203 of the EEC Treaty and Article 177 of the Euratom Treaty.
