Mme Catherine Asthon, Haute Représentante de l'Union pour les affaires étrangères et la politique de sécurité et vice-présidente de la Commission européenne, a annoncé aujourd'hui la nomination de M. Pierre Vimont à la fonction de Secrétaire général exécutif du futur Service d'action extérieure, et de M. David O'Sullivan, à celle de Directeur général administratif.
