NICEF Canada féliciterait tous ceux qui ont participé à l'élaboration du projet de loi et appuierait les dispositions prévues dans le projet de loi C-13 qui concernent exclusivement la cyberintimidation et non la distribution non consensuelle d’images intimes, si elles s’accompagnaient des modifications supplémentaires au Code criminel que nous proposons dans le présent mémoire, ainsi que d’une stratégie fédérale/provinciale/territoriale pluridimensionnelle bien coordonnée pour combattre la cyberintimidation, fondée sur la prévention, l’éducation, l’autonomisation des enfants et le renforcement des capacités, y compris l’utilisation appropriée de sanctions

e would support the provisions in Bill C-13 and commend all of the strong work that has gone into developing the bill, limited to cyberbullying and the non-consensual distribution of intimate images, if its provisions were supplemented by the additional Criminal Code amendments we are proposing.
