Le Comité se félicite que l'initiative «Calypso» ait posé un premier jalon en ce sens. Il invite la Commission et le Parlement européen à encourager le développement de cette initiative, en lui affectant spécifiquement des fonds, eu égard à ses répercussions sociales et dans le domaine du tourisme européen.
The EESC is pleased that a first step in this direction has already been taken with the CALYPSO initiative, and urges the Commission and the European Parliament to encourage the development of this initiative, specifically by earmarking funding, on account of its social impact and benefits for European tourism.
