SOULIGNE que les changements climatiques constituent un défi mondial appelant une réponse globale et mondiale; RÉAFFIRME la nécessité de commencer à étudier rapidement le cadre qi sera établi après 2012 dans le contexte du processus des Nations unies relatif aux changements climatiques; ATTEND AVEC INTÉRÊT de prendre part, avec toutes les autres parties à la convention, à un dialogue partagé et ouvert portant sur les mesures à prendre en 2005; INSISTE sur sa volonté, dans le cadre d'un accord général, de contribuer équitablement aux efforts d'atténuation nécessaires au plan mondial;
4. UNDERLINES that climate change is a global challenge that requires a comprehensive and global response; REAFFIRMS the need to start promptly the consideration of the post 2012 framework within the context of the UN climate change process; LOOKS FORWARD to engaging with all Parties to the UNFCCC in a common and open dialogue on further action in 2005; EMPHASISES its willingness, in the context of a global agreement, to commit to its fair share of the necessary global mitigation efforts.
