En vertu de l’article 141, le ministre pourrait recommander au Cabinet de modifier par décret la définition des termes « animal » ou « végétal » de la LPEAVSRCII, afin de prévenir l’importation d’un spécimen d’espèce animale ou végétale qui mettrait en danger des espèces ou des écosystèmes canadiens.
Clause 141 would permit the Minister to recommend that Cabinet, by order, amend the definition of “animal” or “plant” in the WAPPRIITA, in order to prevent the import of any specimen of an animal or plant species that would be harmful to Canadian ecosystems or species.
