En février 2000, le propriétaire de BWE, le holding public espagnol SEPI, a signé un contrat avec Babcock Borsing AG aux termes duquel le premier cédera au dernier, pour le prix de 45 millions d'euros, les actions d'une nouvelle société à créer, NewCo, à laquelle certains actifs de BWE seront apportés.
In February 2000 BWE's owner, the Spanish public holding SEPI has signed a contract with Babcock Borsing AG by which the former will sell to the latter for a price of € 45 million the shares of a new company to be created, NewCo, to which certain selected assets of BWE will be contributed.
