La Commission a ouvert une enquête sur un accord par lequel Telefónica et Portugal Telecom conviennent de ne pas se faire de concurrence sur les marchés de télécommunications ibériques. Cet accord a été conclu en 2010 lorsque Telefónica a acquis le contrôle exclusif de l'opérateur de téléphonie mobile brésilien Vivo, précédemment détenu en commun par les deux opérateurs de télécommunications ibériques.
The Commission has opened an investigation into an agreement between Telefónica and Portugal Telecom not to compete on the Iberian telecommunications markets concluded in the context of Telefónica's 2010 acquisition of sole control over the Brazilian mobile operator Vivo, previously jointly owned by the two Iberian telecoms incumbents.
