IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Les législations fiscales flamande et bruxelloise contenaient des dispositions discriminatoires analogues mais, à la suite de l’avis motivé que la Commission a adressé à la Belgique en 2002 (voir IP/02/1527), ces dispositions ont été modifiées et les taux réduits ont été étendus aux legs et donations effectués au profit d’institutions caritatives de l’UE et de l’EEE, sans les conditions prévues par la législation fiscale wallonne.
The Flemish and Brussels tax laws contained similar discriminatory provisions, but following the reasoned opinion the Commission sent to Belgium in 2002 (see IP/02/1527), they were changed and the reduced rates were extended to legacies and gifts made to EU and EEA charity organisations, without the conditions laid down in the Walloon tax law.
