C'est très malheureux que le gouvernement ait jugé bon de présenter une telle motion parce qu'elle laisse entendre que les produits de la biotechnologie devraient relever du domaine d'un seul ministère, à savoir le ministère de l'Industrie, comme si la biotechnologie n'avait qu'une incidence économique.
It is very unfortunate that the government would see fit to present such a motion. It implies that the products of biotechnology should be the domain of just one department, namely the Department of Industry, as if biotechnology is a matter of economic concern alone.
