– (FR) I voted for discharge to the Commission in respect of the implementation of the budget for the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th European Development Funds (EDFs) for the financial year 2006 on the basis of the report recommending that Parliament should grant discharge by Mr Fjellner, who in fact took over the very good work by Mr Stubb, who has been appointed a minister in the Finnish Government.

– (FR) Based on the report by my excellent colleague and friend Jean-Paul Gauzès from the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats), I voted for the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending the 2009 regulation on credit rating agencies and granting the all-new European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) supervisory powers over these entities.

– Sur la base du rapport de mon excellent collègue allemand Reimer Böge, j’ai voté la proposition de décision du Parlement européen et du Conseil relative à la mobilisation du Fonds de solidarité de l’Union européenne à hauteur de 67 millions d’euros pour venir en aide à Madère (Portugal), touchée par des glissements de terrain et des inondations, et à la France, touchée par des inondations à la suite de la tempête Xynthia en février 2010.
– (FR) On the basis of the report by my esteemed German colleague, Mr Böge, I voted for the proposal for a decision by the European Parliament and of the Council on mobilising the European Union Solidarity Fund to the tune of EUR 67 million to help Madeira (Portugal), which was hit by landslides and floods, as well as France, affected by floods following storm Xynthia in February 2010.
