Tous ceux qui sont ici sont protégés contre les poursuites en diffamation mais dans le cas où nous commettrions des erreurs, je voulais qu'il soit consigné au compte rendu que l'Association du Barreau canadien pourrait fort bien venir témoigner ici et que je pense qu'il serait bon que les membres du comité évitent d'attribuer des positions à des personnes ou à des groupes, à moins de citer directement le compte rendu et leur laissent la possibilité d'aborder directement ces questions.
Because we're all protected around here from libel and slander actions, just in case we make mistakes, I just wanted the record to be clear that it's possible that the Canadian Bar Association may be a witness here, but I think, for all of us, we should avoid attributing positions to persons and groups unless we're quoting directly from the record, and allow them the benefit of dealing with these issues straight up.
