(e) Engaging in multilateral environmental processes, including the UNFCCC, CBD and the chemicals-related conventions, as well as other relevant fora, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization and the International Maritime Organization, in a more consistent, proactive and effective way with a view to ensuring that commitments for 2020 are met at EU and global level, and to agree on international action to be taken beyond 2020.

(e) s'engager dans des processus multilatéraux sur l'environnement, notamment la CCNUCC, la CDB, la CITES, la CIRCB, les différents traités intergouvernementaux concernant la conservation de la faune sauvage et de ses habitats à l'échelle mondiale et les conventions relatives aux produits chimiques, ainsi que d'autres enceintes, telles que l'Organisation de l'aviation civile internationale et l'Organisation maritime internationale, de manière plus cohérente, proactive et efficace, en vue de garantir que les engagements pris pour 2020 sont remplis aux niveaux de l'Union et de la planète et de convenir d'une action internationale à mener après 2020, et redoubler d'efforts afin que tous les accords multilatéraux fondamentaux sur l'environnement soient exécutés bien avant 2020;
(e) Engaging in multilateral environmental processes, including the UNFCCC, CBD, CITES, ICRW, the various intergovernmental conventions on the global conservation of wildlife and its habitats and the chemicals-related conventions, as well as other relevant fora, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization and the International Maritime Organization, in a more consistent, proactive and effective way with a view to ensuring that commitments for 2020 are met at EU and global level, and to agree on international action to be taken beyond 2020, and boosting efforts to implement all key multilateral environmental agreements well before 2020.

(16d) ‘act of unlawful interference’ means an act or attempted act such as to jeopardise the safety of civil aviation and air transport, namely unlawful seizure of an aircraft in flight; unlawful seizure of an aircraft on the ground; hostage-taking on board aircraft or on aerodromes; forcible intrusion on board an aircraft, at an airport or on the premises of an aeronautical facility; introduction on board an aircraft or at an airport of a weapon or hazardous device or material intended for criminal purposes; communication of false information such as to jeopardise the safety of an aircraft in flight or on the ground, of passengers, crew, ground personnel or the general public, at an airport or on the premises of a civil aviation facility;

As regards the more general question of the working conditions of staff in the air transport sector, the social partners (representing employers and employees) have a tool at European level in the shape of the sectoral dialogue committee on civil aviation, within which body they can discuss working conditions in the sector and take joint initiatives to deal with them.
